While this guy may be getting on in years, he still throws down some awesome poses. He’s a Black Copper Maran crossed with my neighbour’s “wild” hen – he has been a truly great guy to have around. 

This painting won first prize in the Federation of Canadian Artists Show “Animalis” in November 2022 and was sold from the FCA Vancouver Gallery on Granville Island before the show even opened. He has found his home with a Calgary collector.
